As I mentioned last week, the scale was just plain weird. And while I wasn’t thrilled to see that overnight 5+ pound gain, I’m happy to report that the scale is moving in the right direction…even after a weekend of celebrating my birthday, my husband’s birthday, our family reunion, and a wedding. It was a great weekend, but I definitely wasn’t in my normal routine. On a positive note, I got in 14,700 steps and 7.51 miles on my birthday, so that definitely helped. 🙂
So one of the goals I had set for myself was to be under 200 pounds by my birthday. It didn’t happen, but I’m OK with it. I think I’ll hit it within the next few weeks. I’m not going to lie, I’m super excited and eager to see the day where the number on the scale starts with a 1 instead of a 2.  I think I’ll definitely be there before the end of August…maybe even sooner.
Today I weighed in at 213.4. Since we’ve pretty much been out of town and eating differently for the past week, I would have been happy with staying the same, but I’m absolutely thrilled with a loss. My back is starting to feel better, but I’m still not 100% and am a little worried about starting 21 Day Fix again or doing another program with weights. I need to figure out what exercise is going to look like while I try to get my back rehabbed and back to normal.

I planned to take a ton of pictures on vacation, but only managed to take a few…and most of them are of other people. Here’s one my husband took of me wearing one of my newest Stitch Fix outfits. My Stitch Fix boxes make me seriously happy! 🙂 It’s like a gift I give myself on a regular basis. If you haven’t tried Stitch Fix yet, you seriously need to try it.
