It’s hard to believe that I’ve already finished a week of the 1 Million Steps Before Summer challenge! In my first 8 days, I took 83,498 steps, so I’m a little ahead of schedule. I’ve definitely been more mindful about moving. I’ve even had a few evenings where I realized I wasn’t close to my goal, so I went out and exercised.
I was surprised to find that it’s a lot harder for me to get my steps in on the weekends as opposed to weekdays! Between having my oldest daughter home and spending time running around with her on Friday and going to an all-star tournament that was 2 1/2 hours from home on Saturday, I struggled both days with my steps. I’m sure spending 5+ hours in the car on Saturday may have contributed to my struggle. 🙂
I now have 916,502 steps to go!!! I can do this! How did you all do this week? Did any of you join me in the challenge?
