Plus Size Outfit of the Day – Seeing Green

I know that dresses really aren’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I personally love them! Especially when that dress is polka-dot and paired with a Kelly green pea coat!

This is a really affordable and adorable Old Navy dress that I paired with this incredible green coat. I decided to go all out with the bright colors and paired that with a pair of yellow pumps and a blue striped handbag. Finish it off with this gold Noonday necklace for this incredible look:

Plus Size Outfit of the Day – Slimming Stripes

I love a great striped top! And I find that the saying that horizontal stripes are not figure flattering to be completely untrue. Most women’s smallest part is their waist and a striped top really accentuates that part of your body and draws the eye to the smallest area, which can be really slimming!

I have paired this beautiful striped tank with a denim jacket and black skinny jeans. I love the look of brown and black together, so I have chosen a great pair of brown riding boots to go with this look. And to tie the black and brown together a bit, I’ve added this colorblock bag. Finish the look off with a beautiful aqua Noonday necklace!

Today’s outfit of the day is a feminine mix of florals and patterns. I love the trend lately of mixing florals with other patterns such as stripes, polka-dots or this great Ikat patterned top.

I paired this top with a vintage inspired pendant necklace and these beautiful floral shoes and handbag. This could be worn with these dark wash jeans, khakis or a light colored pair of chinos.

We are so excited about a new daily post series that we are working on here at Flabby Fashionista! Each Monday through Friday we will be featuring a stylish and chic Plus Size Outfit of the Day!

To start things off, I have used this incredible lace back jumpsuit from Lane Bryant! Pair that with a navy blazer and these GORGEOUS Steve Madden flats for an incredible look. But really the star of this show is this ikat patterned mustard yellow Noonday scarf – so dreamy!
