While I know most people complain about trying on bathing suits, one of the hardest things for me to find is a good pair of jeans. That’s one of the reasons that Stitch Fix has been so awesome for me. I’ve gotten a new pair of jeans in each of my “Fixes” and I’ve loved each one of them. I’ve been working hard at losing weight, so it’s worked out well that by the time my next “fix” comes around, I’m ready for a smaller size of jeans. Here’s what arrived in my latest Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box. I’d love your feedback on what I should keep and what I should send back.

Here are my thoughts on this box…stylistically, I like everything that came in the box. I was thrilled to get another pair of jeans in my box. While they’re not as distressed as the jeans I usually go for, they fit well and I like them. I think I’m going to keep them. Next up is the navy floral tank. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this tank. It fit well and I liked the style. I’m on the fence about keeping this. I tried the hot pink layered tank next. I feel like it’s too big (and yes, my bra choice with this isn’t a good one, but I didn’t feel like changing) and not the most flattering. Next up is the denim jacket. My old jean jacket is now too big so I asked my stylist to send me a denim jacket. I like the one she sent, but it’s too big as well. I also think that a cropped style jacket is more flattering for my figure. I’m not going to keep the jacket. Last but not least is the black maxi dress. I like maxi dresses as they’re easy to throw on and make you look like you’re put together even on days when you’re not. They also hide a multitude of sins (like unshaven legs). I definitely like this dress, but I’m not sure about the length. I feel like it may be a little short.
So…that’s my latest Stitch Fix Plus Size Clothing Box! What should I keep and what should I send back? Leave me a comment and let me know!
If you’ve never tried Stitch Fix, here’s how it works. You sign up and then fill out a questionnaire about your sizes, your style preferences and more. They even ask you how much you like to spend on various pieces of clothing so they can send you a box that fits your budget. Then you choose how frequently you want to receive your style fixes. Once you’ve done all that, schedule the date you want your fix to arrive and sit back and wait. Your personal stylist will take into account your likes and dislikes and will get your box ready to go. Then once your box arrives, you’ll have 3 days to decide what you want to keep and what you want to send back. There is a $20 styling fee, but when you decide to keep an item in your box, your $20 styling fee is applied to that purchase. If you decide to keep everything in your box, they offer you 25% off your entire purchase. If there are items in your box that you want to send back, simply use the prepaid envelope to ship them back. It’s easy peasy!
