LuLaRoe Nicole Dress & Noonday Infinity Scarf

I’m sure you’re beginning to wonder if I own anything other than this Black LuLaRoe Nicole Dress and the answer is yes.  I do own other things, but I’m seriously in love with the LuLaRoe Nicole! (I also have 2 more Nicoles in prints and once I get my call and become an official LuLaRoe consultant, I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot more Nicoles (and Julias and Sarahs and Lucys and Lolas and Maxis…and on and on it goes)!!

First off, I want to say that you can wear the LuLaRoe Nicole completely plain…with no jewelry and accessories and it will look fabulous, but if you’re looking to change things up a little, I highly recommend adding an infinity scarf and some fun jewelry!  You could literally wear this dress every day for a week and have it look different every day depending on how you accessorize it!

Business Casual for Women: An Easy Outfit Plus Business Casual Ideas

I often get asked “What does ‘business casual for women‘ mean?  It seems like many people aren’t sure exactly what a business casual outfit entails.  While there are many different business casual looks out there, I have 4 business casual looks that I typically go for.

Business Casual for Women:

  1. Feminine skirt with a tee and a denim jacket
  2. Black pants with a cute cardigan. (I’m partial to White House Black Market cardigans)
  3. Comfy dress with a cardigan or a denim jacket.
  4. Dressy jeans with a button down, blazer and heels

Today’s Plus Size Outfit of the Day is the perfect look for those days when you want to stay in bed but know you need to get to work and that you need to look presentable! 🙂

I threw on a polka dot Lucy skirt, a black tee, and a denim jacket!  I topped it off with a pair of fun earrings and a bright colored handbag! This is a great example of a feminine skirt with a tee and a denim jacket!

LuLaRoe Nicole {My New Favorite Dress}

I’ve always been a huge fan of dresses, but this LuLaRoe Nicole is my new favorite!!!  It’s seriously versatile and can be worn so many different ways.  It’s also extremely comfortable!  It’s fabulous in prints or in colors.  But if you can find it in black, you need to buy it!  I’m serious!

The Nicole dress boasts a fitted bodice, flattering scoop neck, mid-length sleeves, and a full circle skirt. It is simultaneously casual and dressy and, in a word, feminine!  And it’s oh-so-fun to twirl in! 🙂

I love that the neckline is high enough that it’s modest, but cut low enough that it’s extremely flattering.   It also has sleeves that come to the elbow.  They’re perfect for covering up jiggly arms!  And the length is great too!

I’m sure you’ll be seeing many more Nicole dresses in the weeks and months to come and this Black Nicole will also be making some reappearances because it’s so easy to style multiple ways!

LuLaRoe Lucy Worn As A Dress #OOTD

Today I am sharing another LuLaRoe favorite of mine!  This is the LuLaRoe Lucy worn as a dress.   I added a LuLaRoe Joy over top of it.  I love the way the lace Joy makes everything look prettier and more feminine!  I then added a belt and some fabulous Noonday accessories!

This is a really fun look for work, but would also be great for a lunch date, an evening out or a women’s event!  I love that it’s comfy enough to wear all day long.  Before I discovered LuLaRoe, I would wear cute clothes out in public and as soon as I got home I would change into pajamas or shorts and a tank top.  Now that I’m wearing comfy clothes, I find that I tend to look great all day long…not just when I’m out in public! 🙂

Plus Size Maxi Skirt Worn as a Shirt #OOTD

Yesterday I shared how I wear a LuLaRoe Maxi Skirt as a dress.  Today I want to share how I wear that same plus size maxi skirt as a shirt.  This is definitely a non-traditional way to wear a maxi skirt, but I love the way it looks!

Do you wish your wardrobe was more versatile? Today I'm showing you how to wear a plus size maxi skirt as a top! No one the fabulous top you're wearing is actually a skirt!

How to Wear a Plus Size Maxi Skirt As a Top

It’s super easy to wear as a shirt.  Simply pull the skirt all the way up your body and slip one arm under the waistband.  The waist of the skirt should be on your neck and under your arm.  Once it’s laying across your body, you’ll need a belt it to keep it in place.  If you’re worried about showing more skin than you want, you can wear a strapless cami under it or just wear a regular cami under it and tuck the strap in. Voila! You have an awesome top!  Also, this is the perfect outfit for showing off a pair of statement earrings!  I love the way these Nebula earrings look!
