This past week was another busy week. I worked a ton, the kids had lots going on at school, and my husband’s schedule was busier than usual. On a positive note, we got to spend some fun family time at a football game on Friday night. I’ve also been super productive and have been batch cooking meals and freezing them so we’re eating at home a lot more. I’m hoping we can get to the point that the only time we eat out is on our date nights.
I’m continually amazed at how well my clothes are fitting. I continue to find things that are too big, but I’d much rather have that problem than the opposite problem…which has pretty much been the story of my life.
I didn’t post a picture last week and realized I didn’t take many pictures this week, but thought I’d share this picture I took the other day in one of my favorite dresses. I shared earlier this year that I’d avoided white dresses, but that since I’ve started losing weight, I feel pretty good about how I look in this white dress. It’s pretty much my favorite dress right now.
Ok…and now what you really came here for. I kept stepping on the scale this week, seeing the number, stepping off the scale, moving it to another place in the bathroom….and then starting the process over again. While I’d love to tell you that the weird scale blip has corrected itself, it unfortunately, it hasn’t. And so I decided to just leave the scale in one place and get on with my life.
While the scale isn’t doing what I’d like it do, at least it didn’t go up again. I think I need to start incorporating exercise back into my life. My goal is to get out and hike this next week.
