This past week was crazy busy! My mom and dad flew out to help me work on the boutique. It’s really coming together. I’ve been working a crazy amount of hours which hasn’t left a ton of time for exercise. I think all the walking, moving, lifting, etc. have helped to make up for the lack of exercise. I treated myself to 90 calorie sorbet on multiple days since it was hot as blazes. I love that I’ve found a treat that’s low calorie and that I LOVE! I just wish it wasn’t almost $5 for a small. That could add up quickly!
I lost some weight this week which was encouraging after last week’s gain, but I wish I hadn’t gained last week. Although I post weekly, I typically weigh daily and for the last 2 weeks my weight has literally been up and down every single day. It’s rather annoying! I just want the scale to move in a downward arc and it doesn’t seem to want to cooperate.

In fashion news, all this weight loss has me branching out and trying things I never would have worn or tried a year ago. This week I wore shorts, with a tucked in shirt, and sneakers. While I occasionally wear shorts, they’re usually longer denim shorts. These crocheted shorts were shorter than what I’d usually wear. I can’t remember the last time I tucked in a shirt. And sneakers are typically reserved just for working out (although these are super cute sneaks for kicking around in).
I’m still in search of the perfect exercise program. I’m leaning toward either doing T-Tapp or checking out Beachbody On Demand. I need to find something I can do consistently and I have a feeling it’s going to have to be something I do from home. Let me know if you guys have suggestions!
