The boutique is officially open!!! I can’t even tell you how thrilled I am to be able to say that. My TV appearance went really well. It was fun to talk about our new shop and share about the designer and the fabulous clothes. Here’s me on the set.
I need to get on a regular sleep schedule. I’ve been a total slacker in the sleep department. I’d also been a slacker in the fitness department, but hopefully I’ve remedied that. I got a Groupon for a women’s boxing gym and took a class there yesterday morning and this morning. It was a really good workout. I thought it would be mostly boxing and kicking, but there were a whole lot of burpees and pushups too. I’m not a big fan of pushups or burpees, so that was a little miserable!
While I’d love to report a loss this week, unfortunately, I gained again this week. There’s been more up and down these last few weeks than I’d like. I think a contributing factor is my lack of sleep. I can’t tell you the number of mornings I’ve been up before 4. And I worked over 100 hours last week. Now that the store is open, I imagine my schedule will slow down and I’ll be working less hours. My mom is flying out next week and I’m thrilled that I’ll be able to take a couple days off. I’m also working hard to hire a few people for the store. I want to make sure we hire the right people so I don’t want to rush into anything. Anyway, here are this week’s numbers…

Weight Lost This Week: I gained 1.2 pounds
Total Weight Loss: 51.3 pounds
I’m hoping that if I focus on sleeping more, I’ll see better numbers next week. I’m also going to make an effort to eat a little cleaner this week.
