Happy 4th of July! I have the morning off of work and am planning on spending time with my kiddos this morning while my hubby does an open house. I have all the makings for a fabulous American Flag fruit pizza. It’s not at all healthy, but it’s totally delicious and the kids are super excited about it!
I finally started 21 Day Fix….and oh. my. word! I have sore muscles in places that I didn’t even know had muscles. I’m really enjoying it so far. I love the little containers and did a great job planning in the beginning, but have been a total slacker the last 2 days. When I’m a slacker, I tend to do a lot more snacking throughout the day and yesterday, I found myself munching on Ritz crackers and drinking a Coke. Not a good combination for weight loss. I won’t even tell you how many crackers I consumed.
If I would have brought my lunch to work and eaten something healthy, I probably would have had a much bigger loss this week. With the extra exercise I’m getting, I should have seen more of a difference and the reason I didn’t can be summed up in two words…eating junk! And that’s OK.

Life is about balance. I’ve always been an all or nothing person and this time around, I’m trying to have a better approach to weight loss. So today, I’m going to eat fruit pizza with my kids, swim in the pool, get some housework done, go to work and have an all around enjoyable day!
In case you missed it on my Instagram, my friend Katherine gave me the most adorable shirt from Justice. If you move the sequins one way it says “Believe In Yourself”. If you move it the other way, it says “Believe In Unicorns”.
