Weight Loss Wednesday: December 9, 2015


I’m terrible about remembering my Weight Loss Wednesday posts.  I need to set a recurring reminder in my phone so that I remember to post.  I think part of the problem is that I’ve been traveling so many Wednesdays and I just keep forgetting to weight the day before.

There hasn’t been a huge change since my last post, but I’m thrilled to say that the scale is still moving in the right direction.

I fell off the wagon right before Thanksgiving and I ate horribly and didn’t take my Keto O/S.  While my weight didn’t fluctuate too crazily, the inflammation in my body was a huge problem.  It’s crazy how much what you eat affects how you feel.  I’m learning that a Ketogenic Diet really does make a difference for my body!

I know I’ve been rambling on and on without telling you my weight, so here it is…this morning’s weight was 240.0.  That means I’ve lost another 2 pounds since I last posted about my weight and 8.6 pounds in the last 10 weeks.  While that may not sound great to everyone else around, I’m thrilled! It’s been an uphill battle for me for the last 2 years and it seems like I’ve been gaining weight regardless of what I eat or do, so this is huge for me.

Hopefully next week I’ll be able to post a number in the 230s.  :)

    The Keto diet is amazing…and very stable and forgiving when it comes to slipping. I started at a much higher weight….and have dropped 30 pounds since September 22nd. 240 is a goal for me, and at 10 pounds each month I hope to reach it before May. Good luck, and remember you aren’t alone in the struggle with weight and eating and all of the triggers that go with it. Change can take a lifetime, and your attitude is everything. Keep up the extremely hard work :)
