Happy Wednesday my friends! Today is my oldest daughter’s birthday. She is turning 23. It’s so fun watching your kids becoming who they’re meant to be! And speaking of becoming who you’re meant to be, I feel like 42 is shaping up to be my year! I have so many goals I’m hoping to accomplish this year and I feel like the plans I’m making will move me to where I need to be. And all this weight loss is definitely helping. Even though there are many weeks where the weight loss is slow, I keep reminding myself that slow and steady wins the race.
So I had a great week of weight loss this week! I got my hair all chopped off this week and I wish I knew what my hair weighed. I wonder if that’s part of the difference. Speaking of differences, I posted this picture on my Instagram this past week. You can totally see the difference my weight loss has made.
The first picture was taken in January. I had great hair, a great outfit, and great boots. I looked great! But I wasn’t happy with the way I felt. Now I love the way I feel. While I still have weight to lose, I feel really good! I’ve been enjoying Couch to 5K and am amazed at what my body can do.
Now…back to my amazing weight loss. While cutting my hair off may have had some effect on my weightloss, I lost enough weight to know it’s not just my hair. 🙂 This week I’m down 5.2 pounds! Isn’t that awesome!?! I’m soooo close to breaking that 200 pound mark.
If I can just keep it up, I’ll break 200 before the end of August! If I have another big loss, I might even hit it in the next week!!!
