It was another good week in the weight loss department. I ate well, I hiked some more and I’m thrilled to report that the scale went down again!
This week was a huge loss!!! I can’t believe I lost this much in one week!

I’m really working hard to replace the processed food I eat with more nutritious foods. I’ve been making myself a smoothie for breakfast each morning. I use spinach, an orange, frozen strawberries, frozen pineapple and protein powder. While my smoothie isn’t low calorie, I feel like it’s really nutrient dense and I’m working hard on eating better not just eating less.
It’s fun seeing the scale move, but it’s even more fun that my clothes are starting to fit differently. I’m thrilled with this picture from earlier this week.
I’m not sure why, but when I get disciplined about eating and exercising, I put more effort into what I’m wearing and how I look. Isn’t this outfit the cutest? My husband bought me these Tory Burch boots for Christmas and I think they add so much to any outfit! The jeans are Old Navy Rockstar Jeggings and I’m loving this Bell Sleeve Top! I also got my hair done this week. I went to someone new and I absolutely her! My hair was looking kinda crazy and I’m thrilled with the color now. That may also contribute to my desire to look put together!
Anyway, I feel like I’m already seeing a difference in the way I look, but that could just be my mind playing tricks on me. Whatever it is, I’ll take it!
